Many students have a hard time
doing their best at all times during the day. Sometimes
they do a great job, and sometimes their work is
not as good as it could be. The Performance Log
can help both you and your students become more
aware of how consistent their performance is throughout
the day.
Once a student has filled in the
log, talk about the results together. You may want
to use the information to adjust the students
schedule, or come up with a shared plan to improve
the students situation.
DIRECTIONS:
- Print out a copy of the Log
to use with students you think might be having
performance difficulties.
- Have each student fill in the
chart with the days classes or activities
(Follow the example below.)
- Tell students to keep track
of their performance during each class. Have them
mark the box that best describes their behavior
for each class.
- GREAT means the student did
a great job
- GOOD means the student did a
good job
- NOT SO GOOD means the
student didnt perform well (do a good job)
