The Story Developer

Before using The Story Developer, students can explore their writing by answering a few questions about themselves.

1. Is there any kind of writing that you enjoy in school?

2. What's the hardest part about writing for you? What's the easiest?

3. Is there anything you've learned to do that makes writing easier for you?

4. Do you ever feel embarrassed when other kids look at things that you've written?

5. If you were having trouble writing a report, what could you do?

6. Have you used a computer for writing? Has this made writing easier for you? Are there problems for you in using a computer?

7. You need muscle coordination for writing, for playing sports, and for doing art or fixing things. Which of these things do your muscles work well for and which are problems for your muscles?

8. What does a kid have to be good at to write well?
