| As an educator with experience with students diagnosed and then medicated or not, I can tell you that even with medication, there are still major challenges to be faced depending on the child. I have seen kids who are medicated and still have a lot of difficulties while others are highly functional and when the medication wears off it is intensely obvious and they turn from a child who can function in a classroom into a child who is completely non-functional with meltdowns, panic, anger, and ... |
